NewsPlus Announces Launch of New Website & Delayed April Delivery

Don Fish Jr Feature, Tri-Community Feature

Tri-Community NewsPlus announces the launch of its new website, 4newsplus.com, dedicated to sharing the news of the community and the latest coronavirus updates and resources that are relevant to those living in the Tri-Community. Through the web site, NewsPlus will now have the ability to provide news and information to readers on a daily basis.
“Now is the time, if there ever was one, to bring Tri-Community NewsPlus online,” said Publisher Don Fish Jr. “It’s been long days burning the midnight oil, but we got something, a web site, tailored to the current needs of the community.”
The 4newsplus.com website is focused on providing information and resources that the community needs to get through the coronavirus pandemic. Readers can expect the web site to be updated with additional resource sections, FAQs, and need to know information. Additionally, it will bring the news, events, and happenings of the Tri-Community just as readers have come to expect from the print edition.
Tri-Community NewsPlus will continue to publish a print edition of the newspaper which is available for pickup at over 90 businesses and advertisers across the Tri-Community. The April issue of the paper, which was initially scheduled to be delivered on April 1, 2020, will be delayed until Thursday, April 9, 2020. The decision was made to postpone the paper for two reasons. The first was to build the web site and launch by April 1. The second, because the original delivery date will have been about 14 days since the state and county officially issued “stay at home” orders and at that time will be re-evaluating guidelines that may be in effect through April and beyond. “We wanted to wait to get any updated information that may come out as a result of these re-evaluations to provide our readers with relevant current information concerning the coronavirus pandemic,” said Don.
The website can be found at www.4newsplus.com, and the print edition will be available on or about the first of every month except for the April issue, which will be delivered on April 9, 2020.
