Visit the Victor Valley Museum this month to experience a new exhibit and a fun event that explores the rich history of the Mojave Desert and Old West.
Starting Friday, January 13th, the Victor Valley Museum is featuring a new exhibit titled “Mosaics of the Mojave.” According to a recent press release, the installation was “Created in close collaboration with the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, the exhibit features an immersive experience with a native rock dwelling, voices of tribal youth, modern rock art and much more.”
On Saturday, January 21st, the museum will also host an “Old West Days” event where you can unleash your inner pioneer and take a journey into the Wild West. Pioneer-themed activities will be held from 11am – 3pm. The museum galleries will be open during the event and regular admission applies. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for Senior/Military, $5 for children 6-12 years old, and free for children under 5.
