Four Died In A Four-Car Pileup On Cajon Boulevard In Devore

Tri-Community NewsPlus

At about 5:15pm on Sunday, October 18, Marcos Munoz was traveling northbound on Cajon Boulevard with his three children when just past Keenbrook Road, his blue Suburban crossed over the double yellow line into opposing traffic and collided head-on with a Toyota Camry.  His SUV flipped and hit a gray pickup truck pushing it partially off the side of the road, leaving it hanging off a cliff.   Also involved was a white F-150 pickup that crashed into the Camry.

Tragically, six-year-old Gabriel Munoz died immediately, and two days later, at Loma Linda Hospital, his father Marcos died from injuries related to the crash.  Two additional people died in the four-vehicle accident.  The people in F-150 were uninjured, as well as Marcos’s other children.

Young Gabriel was described as a child full of life and lots of energy. His smile was the sweetest, and he had love for everyone.  He attended Hillside Preschool.

Marco grew up in Wrightwood and attended Serrano High School.  Marcos coached for Wrightwood Little League and played softball on the Wrightwood Adult Softball League.  He worked hard and was the main provider for his three biological children. He was also the main provider for his fiancés, three children with a new baby on the way.  The family needs help with funeral costs and household essentials for two families.  A Go-Fund-Me has been created to help the Munos and Wolf, families.  Please help if you can.
