Our local libraries are getting ready for the holiday season with special events and programs for all ages.
Friends of the Phelan Memorial Library is holding a Holiday Gift Basket Raffle. Baskets will be on display from November 6th through December 13th, 2023. Come by the library and check out the variety of Gift Baskets. Tickets are available for purchase at the library during regular business hours. Ticket prices are: 1 ticket- $1, 6 tickets- $5, 13 tickets- $10, and 30 tickets- $20. Basket themes for all ages include Nightmare Before Christmas, Doggies, Coffee, Jewelry, Emergency Preparations, Kids Baking, & more…..
Winning tickets will be drawn during the Annual Holiday Event to be held on Wednesday, December 13th, from 4-6 p.m. at the Phelan Library located at 9800 Clovis Road across from the Post Office. Winners do not have to be present. All proceeds benefit the many library programs.
Friends of the Wrightwood Library, Start your holiday shopping at Wrightwood Library’s annual Holiday Gift Bookstore sale. It will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 25th, and continue through Christmas during regular Library hours. There are plenty of beautiful book gifts for children and adults, and regular bookstore Holiday topic books, DVDs, and CDs. Find that perfect book to curl up by the fire for the winter months or find a special book for a special person.
Don’t forget about the silent book auction. This months selection celebrates Native American Heritage Month. Be sure to stop by the Wrightwood library and enter a bid by November 29th at 3:00pm. Wrightwood Library is located at the corner of Apple & Pine Streets.
