If you happened to miss out on the Christmas tree lighting ceremonies in either Wrightwood or Phelan, fear not! There are plenty of illuminating spectacles around the Tri-Community that Clark Griswold himself, would be proud of. Check out our list for some of the best Christmas light displays around town:
WRIGHTWOOD CHRISTMAS TREE Be sure to visit the 80+ foot tall Christmas tree in Wrightwood. Decorated from top to bottom with colorful lights. It is certainly a site to see and you can’t miss the tree located on Hwy 2 in the parking lot of Mountain Hardware.
WONDERLAND OF LIGHTS Many amazing hand-crafted displays; automated displays, light show with over 40,000 lights and more. Located at 6556 Del Rosa Rd. From Phelan Rd take Wilson Ranch Rd north to right on Del Rosa.
MISTLETOE LIGHTS SHOW Bring the family to a spectacular 2.5 acre display of over 500,000 lights. Admission is free. Donations are appreciated. Amazing displays, some over 30 feet high. You can walk or drive your vehicle through this wonderland of lights. Open, weather permitting, Sun-Thurs 6-8pm, Fri & Sat 6-9pm. Check their Facebook page for updates. Please do not touch or go near or around any displays or lights on the property. And, be respectful, kind, and pick up your trash during your visit. Mistletoe Light Show is located at 2478 Sierra Rd from Phelan Rd take Sheep Creek north 3 miles, left on Duncan 2 miles, left on Buckwheat. Look for all the colorful lights.
EABY RANCH LIGHT SHOW Look for the giant 30 foot Christmas tree with a light at the top. Exciting computer controlled light show with synchronized lights and music. You will be able to listen to music on FM 96.5 Open Monday-Sunday from 5pm-12 midnight. The neighbors have gotten involved and decorated their homes also. The show was created by Greg Snyder 3 years ago and grows larger even year. Drive south from Phelan Road on Eaby Road just past Sunnyslope in Phelan.
