Easter is almost here, and many families depend upon the Tri-Community Helping Hands food bank, which serves Phelan, Pinon Hills, and Wrightwood.

In preparation for the upcoming Easter holiday, the organization is asking the community to lend a helping hand and provide an Easter meal for those in need. The 501.c3 nonprofit is asking for donations of just one regular-size can of vegetables, dinner rolls, pies, or a box of stuffing. Head over to Wrightwood Fine Foods to purchase these items and place them in the donation box at the front of the store. Donations can also be dropped off at the United Methodist Church located at 1543 Barbara Street in Wrightwood, open from 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
