The Tri-Community Green Waste Recycling Days begins on Friday, May 29 and continues through Sunday, May 31, 2026 across from the Wrightwood Fire Station on Highway 2. The hours are from 9am-3pm and this drop-off event is free for residents of the Tri-Community.
Pine needles and pine cones, weeds and grass, branches and tree trimmings will be accepted. Limbs must be no larger than 10 inches in diameter. The following will not be accepted: Please! NO rocks, dirt, cement, trash, Joshua or Palm, and no stumps, roots or lumber. Also, no smoking. Maximum trailer length is 20 ft. You must securely cover your load with a tarp for safe transport, it’s the law.
Pine needles and green waste do not need to be bagged. Pickup truck or trailer loads are OK. For easy unloading simply place a tarp inside your truck or trailer before loading green waste. California vehicle code requires that all loads be covered during transport.
