Halloween is almost here and we’ve rounded up a list of events, so you can make the most of the weekend. On Friday, October 17th, 2025
Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Senior Game Day – From 10:00am-4:00pm. NOW meeting at Pinon Hills Senior Center. Cribbage 10am-1pm, Dominoes 1-4pm. Seniors come by for a visit & info about becoming a member. Location: 10433 Mountain Road in Pinon Hills
Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 3:00pm – 6:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.
Friday Night Steak Dinner at The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.

Chakra Yoga Flow Class – From 9:00am. Gentle yoga flow. $15 for classes. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2 2nd Floor Wrightwood.
Phelan Library’s Fill a Bag of Books for $5- From 10:00am-3:00pm. Fill a shopping bag with books for only $5. Choose from a huge variety. Also, specialty and vintage books are available to purchase in the Program Room. Stop by and support your Library fundraiser. Location: Phelan Memorial Library 9800 Clovis Rd. in Phelan.
Mountain High Oktoberfest – From 11:00am-5:00pm. Activities and contests all day for all ages. Yodeling, Stein holding, pumpkin toss, best costume & raffles and more. Authentic traditional fare. Free admission. Location: Mt High West Resort on Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
Wrightwood Library Adult Halloween Craft– From 1:00pm. Come and relax while you learn how create your very own wickedly delicious potions and brews inspired by iconic villains. Location: Wrightwood Library 6011 Pine St in Wrightwood.
Phelan Library Monster Mayhem– From 2:00am. Dress the part, scary or sweet as the library serves up some tricks and treats! Games, crafts, prizes, and more- a spooky celebration is what’s in store! Location: Phelan Memorial Library 9800 Clovis Rd in Phelan.
Quarter Mania Fundraiser – From 5:30pm Bring a roll or two of quarters for an exciting fundraiser. Tickets $20 includes dinner & fun. Tickets available at Keller Williams-Phelan or contact Roxanne at 760-240-9596. Tri-Community Kiwanis sponsored Fundraiser. Location: Phelan Community Center 4128 Warbler Road in Phelan.

Ashtanga Yoga Class – From 9:00am. Get your body moving with this yoga class that connects mind, body and breath. $15 for classes. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2- 2nd Floor in Wrightwood.
LifeStream Blood Donation – From 8:00am-1:00pm “Give Hope, Give Life, Give Love”. Donate blood today and give someone a second chance. Go to: lstream.org for appt. Location: Hillside Community Church 3221 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
Smooth Jazz Brunch at Village Grind – From 11:00am-1:00pm. Enjoy a buffet brunch and mimosa bar along with live music by local jazz quartet Along Came Betty Street featuring Willie Boyle on piano, Dylann Taylor on bass, Lowden Harrell on drums and Ben Kantor on reeds. Howl-O-ween at Forever Wild– From 10:00am-4:00pm. Visit with the animals that call this home. Music, food vendors, pumpkin carving, slime station & extreme feeds.
