A Thanksgiving Community Dinner will be provided on Sunday, November 20th to those families or persons who may not have a Thanksgiving Dinner with family or friends. The Fountain of Living Waters Four Square Church, New Life Nazarene Church, and My Hero Sub, all located in Phelan, have partnered to provide a free Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. Dinner will be served at 5pm at the Fountain of Living Waters Church at 10120 Johnson Road in Phelan. Walk-ins welcome.
The Tri-Community Helping Hands is collecting non-perishable food items for their Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday Food Baskets. Canned goods (vegetables or fruits) and boxed items (stuffing, potatoes, etc) can be dropped off in Wrightwood at United Methodist Church, 1453 Barbara Street, Monday-Friday from 10am-1pm.
