The town of Wrightwood needs your help to name the parking lot in front of the Wrightwood Community Building. Although it may seem like just an ordinary parking lot, it’s one of the few outdoor areas large enough to accommodate all the members of the community. Therefore, many events take place at this bustling location including the Farmers Market, Music in the Pines, Mountaineer Days, and many more.
Spearheaded by Wrightwood resident, Paula Ames-Act, she felt that “as a community, we need to define the space more as an event center and less like a parking lot.” Residents and members of the community are encouraged to submit their ideas and the top 5 answers will be voted on by various Wrightwood organizations and clubs that use this space for community events. Once a name is solidified by the votes, it will be presented to the Wrightwood Community Service District for consideration. To submit your creative name idea email wrightwoodevents@gmail.com
