Give The Gift Of Joy This Season With Angel Tree

Tri-Community NewsPlus

Spread some cheer and purchase a gift for a deserving child this holiday season.

Are you looking for a way to make a difference this holiday season? The Phelan Chamber of Commerce’s Angel Tree Program provides Tri-Community children of lower-income families with new gifts, such as toys and clothing, through the support of local businesses, organizations, and individuals. Look for the Bright Red Angel Tree window sign displayed at local businesses. The Angel Trees will be located inside beginning November 25th thru December 13th. Each Angel Tree will be decorated with paper “Little Angels,” which have the first name, age, and gender of a child needing presents along with their wish list. Donors can remove one or more “Little Angels” from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child. Return the unwrapped gifts by December 13th at any of the participating businesses: Flagstar Bank- Phelan and Wrightwood, Coldwell Banker Home Source, Pizza Factory, Mama Maria’s, Mills Hardware, Rick’s Roadside Cafe, and the Phelan Pinon Hills Community Services District Office.

If you don’t want to shop, you can still help. Stop by Spark of Love- Fill the Boot at the Rite Aid Parking Lot. Check phelanchamber.com for the date of this event. A donation of cash can be deposited in the Boot or toys can be dropped off. And, if you eat at Mama Maria’s in Phelan on Thursday, December 12, 2024, and they will donate 20% of all sales to Angel Tree. For further information or to donate, go to phelanchamber.info/Angel-Tree or, contact Kathy at 760-835-9006, or Cheryl at 760-868-8000.
