OPEN HOUSE: The crew at Daniel Meredith Plumbing, the Phelan Chamber, and the Miss Phelan Court conduct a grand opening ribbon cutting for the Meredith's new offices.

Daniel Meredith Plumbing recently celebrated the Grand Opening of its downtown Phelan office.  Truly a grand affair, the Phelan-based plumbing company had much of its equipment on display amongst its fleet of service vehicles.  The day started with the Phelan Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and a certificate of recognition presented to Daniel Meredith by Hayden Bartz on behalf of Representative Jay Obernolte.  The Miss Phelan court also attended, adding some pageantry and hometown community support.  After the official grand opening tasks were completed, the party began.  Live music echoed from the parking lot from James Loveless and Blue Eyed Coyote as guests played a rousing game of Corn Hole.

Daniel, a plumber of more than 30 years, worked for a plumbing company down the hill as a General Manager during the day and solved family, friends, and acquaintances’ plumbing issues by night.  He often got phone calls asking for advice and instruction on all things plumbing.  Daniel saw a need in the Tri-Community for professional, reliable plumbers that could respond to calls within the same day or the next at the latest.  Calls for help started coming in so frequently that he quit his “down the hill” job, became a small business owner, and opened Daniel Meredith Plumbing in 2019.

The business started modestly, with Daniel going on service calls and one of his daughters, Ashley, working the in the “office,” a desk in her room.  Service calls quickly increased, and Ashley had to move the office from her room to the kitchen table, then to a spare room in their garage.  With business booming, they added additional plumbers and service trucks.  Currently, Daniel Meredith Plumbing has six service trucks, one pump truck, one hauler, and all kinds of specialized equipment ready to handle any plumbing problem that may arise.  They have grown from two employees, Daniel and Ashley, to fifteen knowledgeable, professional, and skilled employees who all live, work, and play in the Tri-Community.

Daniel Meredith Plumbing is licensed, bonded, and insured, and they are certified by the State of California to perform repairs and installations of all septic systems.  They are a full-service plumbing company that works on sewers, plumbing, and septic systems.  They offer several services, including water, sewer, and gas venting line installation, leak detection and repair, drain replacement and sleeving, hydro jetting, camera inspections, pipe snake services, and, most recently, septic tank pumping.  They are also available to provide emergency services.  They pride themselves on providing speedy responses to calls within 24 hours or sooner.

Daniel loves living in Phelan; he moved his family from Upland to Phelan in 2005 to get out of the city and has never looked back.  He quickly became involved in the community supporting local sports teams and participating in community events and activities.  His commitment and involvement in the community continues to this day.  He and his wife, Jackie, have four kids, Ashley, Kelly, Zack, and Ryan, all of which went to school locally and graduated from Serrano High School.  They also all work for the company alongside Daniels’s son-in-law Steve who just happens to be the person you’ll talk to when you call their office.

Their office is located at 4272 Phelan Road in Phelan.  Their office hours are Monday – Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.  They are available Saturday and Sunday by appointment and can be reached at 760-987-6746.
