Bring your friends and family to support the Tri-Community 5k Fiesta Fundraiser and make a real difference! Help make this year’s event a grand success by raising funds, which will be used to award scholarships to Snowline Unified School District High School Seniors and the Miss Phelan Queen Scholarship Program.
Whether you prefer running, walking or racing, you can participate in the 5K or 3.1-mile race that is both competitive and fun. The competitive race starts at 9:00 am, while the non-competitive race starts at 9:15 am. Everyone is welcome to enter, and the race divisions are youth ages 12 & below, teenagers 13-18, Adults 19 & above, and non-competitive divisions. Registration is $30 per race entry, and you can sign up at www.tc5kfiesta.com.
Please note that portions of the course will be on dirt, and runners could encounter sandy, rocky, uneven, and hilly terrain. However, a portion of the course will be on the track around the football field, which will be available to those who cannot travel the designated 5K course. All participants can walk, run, push, or roll safely and at a happy pace. Strollers and pets are welcome, but please be mindful that the course will be crowded in spots.
This event is organized by the Tri-Community Kiwanis and the Phelan Chamber of Commerce to show support for the youth in the community. So, hurry up and register to get a bib, medal, and giveaways. Let’s show our support for our local community by contributing to the education of our youth!
