LifeStream Blood Bank’s mobile unit will visit three locations in the Tri-Community in September. The unit will be at St. Junipero Serra Church on Sunday, Sept. 15, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 8820 Sheep Creek Road in Phelan. The newest location is the Wrightwood Community Building on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1275 State Hwy. 2. The unit will also be at Hillside Community Church in Wrightwood on Sunday, Sept. 29, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 3221 Hwy. 2.
All volunteer blood donors must be at least 15 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. Donating blood is a selfless act that can make a significant impact on someone’s life.
