Five local blood drives will be held in the Tri-Community during July, offered by LifeStream Blood Bank and the American Red Cross.
LifeStream Blood Bank’s mobile unit will be in Phelan at two locations. The first location is on Tuesday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Stater Bros, 4059 Phelan Road. The second location is on Sunday, July 21, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Saint Junipero Serra Catholic Church, 8820 Sheep Creek Road. In Wrightwood, the mobile unit will be available on Sunday, July 28, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hillside Community Church, 3221 Hwy 2. The American Red Cross mobile unit will also be in Phelan at two locations. On Tuesday, July 16, it will be at Calvary Chapel, 4501 Nielson Road, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. On Monday, July 22, it will be at Keller Williams Realty in the Downtown Phelan Plaza, 4208 Phelan Road, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. To register or get more information, visit redcrossblood.org and type “92371” in the “Find a Blood Drive” search box.
All volunteer blood donors must be at least 15 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. Donating blood is a selfless act that can make a huge impact on someone’s life.
