Free tax preparation service is available to eligible individuals and families whose combined household earned income was less than $64,000 in 2023. This free tax service is offered through the San Bernardino County Transitional Assistance Department. The staff are IRS-certified volunteers (VITA- Volunteer Income Tax Assistance). Appointments can be made by calling 877-410-8829 (you must make an appointment, No walk-ins). Tri-Communty locations are Phelan Library on March 19th, 2024, from 11:30 am-4 pm and at Wrightwood Library on March 25th from 11:30 am-6 pm.
