St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and there are plenty of exciting events happening in the Tri-Community. Whether you’re looking to show off your green attire or enjoy some traditional Irish food, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The Wrightwood Senior Social Club is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Lunch on Wednesday, March 13th, at the Wrightwood Community Building from 11 am to 1 pm. Seniors are invited to attend and are encouraged to wear green. This event is an excellent opportunity to socialize with other seniors while enjoying some traditional Irish food.
The Big Rock Bar & Grill in Pinon Hills is celebrating St. Patty’s Day all weekend long! Enjoy Karaoke on Friday, March 15th at 8:30pm and music by Desert Junglist at 8:30pm on Saturday, March 16th. On Sunday, March 17th there will Karaoke again at 7:00pm and don’t forget to wear green to get a free jello shot!
The Tavern Bar at the Ranch Steakhouse in Phelan is also celebrating St. Patrick’s Day all weekend long. Friday night is “Shamrocks & Shenanigans” Comedy Night with an all star line up. Show starts at 7:00pm and is for ages 21+ Get your tickets online through event brite or pay $25 at the door. The St. Patty’s Celebration continues at The Ranch at 6:00pm on Saturday, March 16th and again on Sunday, March 17th. The 2-day event will include giveaways, beer pong and darts. Enjoy corned beef and cabbage, along with a Guinness Beer or an Irish Car Bomb.
Mountain Hardware is hosting a St. Paddy’s Day Cabbage Toss on Sunday, March 17th. This fun event is perfect for the whole family whether you’re an expert at tossing or just want to watch the fun. All ages are welcome to participate. Wear something green for good luck and receive a free lapel pin. Mountain Hardware is known for its community involvement, and this event is sure to be a hit.
Wrightwood Brew Co. is having a live band for St. Patrick’s day. Listen to music by the Albert Miranda Projkt, featuring Mo Grundy with special guest Matt Grundy. Don’t miss this festive event along with cold beer and delicious food, which starts at 12:00pm.
The Village Grind in Wrightwood will also celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with live music by local band B.O.B, who will be performing rock, blues, jazz and country. Enjoy drinks and some great music from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
It’s the 16th annual Free Till Ya Pee event at My Hero Subs & Pub in Phelan. Grab some lunch or stay for dinner and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with free Bud Light or Coors Light until the first person pees. Event starts at 2:00pm with $5 cover charge, kids are welcome. Don’t forget to wear green!
