On Friday, September 12th, 2025
Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Senior Game Day – From 10:00am-4:00pm. NOW meeting at Pinon Hills Senior Center. Cribbage 10am-1pm, Dominoes 1-4pm. Seniors come by for a visit & info about becoming a member. Location: 10433 Mountain Road in Pinon Hills
Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 3:00pm – 6:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.
Friday Night Steak Dinner at The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.

Chakra Yoga Flow Class – From 9:00am. Gentle yoga flow. $15 for classes. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2 2nd Floor Wrightwood.
VFW Swap Meet – From 7:00am. Come wheel & deal. Find that perfect treasure. Playground for kids, food & drinks available. Swap meet spaces available for $5. Location: VFW Post # 9415 at 4892 Nielson Road in Phelan.
Community Clean Up and Tire Day– From 8am-12pm. Free to district residents. Drop off residential trash, yard waste, recyclables, and tires (only 9- must be off rim). NO hazardous materials, NO e-waste & NO commercial waste or No commercial tires. Show proof of residency. Location: CR&R Yard 9828 Buckwheat Rd. in Phelan.
Community Teaching Garden – From 10am. Gardening 101- Starting Winter Seedlings. Learn how simple gardening can be from Master Gardener Michelle Hannon. New topic each month. Free class. All ages welcome. Location: Phelan Community Park 4176 Warbler & Sheep Creek Roads in Phelan.
Live Music at Natalie’s Park – From 5:00pm. Blues open mic followed by the Benny Cortez Band. Entry is by invitation from a Blues Society member. A $10 donation is requested. Location: Wrightwood Blues Society Pavilion in Wrightwood.
Live Music at the Yodeler – From 8:00pm-11:00pm. Drop by for great live music from the High D Boys. Enjoy food & drinks. Location: The Yodeler at 6046 Park Drive in Wrightwood.

LifeStream Blood Donation – From 8:00am-1:00pm. “Give Hope, Give Life, Give Love”. Donate blood today and give someone a second chance. Go to: lstream.org for appt. Location: St. Junipero Serra Catholic Church at 8820 Sheep Creek Road in Phelan.
Ashtanga Yoga Class – From 9:00am. Get your body moving with this yoga class that connects mind, body and breath. $15 for classes. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2- 2nd Floor in Wrightwood.
Karaoke at the VFW– From 2:00pm. Join the fun. Public welcome to this fun, music event. Location: VFW Post #9415 at 4892 Nielson Road in Phelan.
