There are a lot of fun events taking place throughout the Tri-Community, in fact, we created a whole St. Patty’s list you can read about on our website. Don’t forget to wear green! Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Social Fridays at Village Roots Collective – From 3:00pm-5:00pm. Free community social at Wrightwood’s newest business, Village Roots Collective, right next to the Wrightwood Artisans Boutique. Enjoy tea and shop for gifts. Location: Village Roots Collective 5995 Cedar St. in Wrightwood.
Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 3:00pm – 6:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.
Friday Night Steak Dinner at The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.
“Shamrocks & Shenanigans” Comedy Night at The Tavern Bar – Show starts at 7:00pm and is for ages 21+ Get your tickets online through event brite or pay $25 at the door. Location: The Ranch Steakhouse and Tavern Bar on Phelan Road in Phelan.
Karaoke at the Big Rock Bar – From 8:30pm, Enjoy St. Patty’s Day all three nights in Pinon Hills. Enjoy drink specials and don’t forget to wear green to get a free jello shot. Location: The Big Rock Bar & Grill on Hwy 138 in Pinon Hills.

Trash Clean-up with High Desert Keepers – From 9:00am-1:00pm. Help pick up illegal trash dumping. Meet at Silver Rock Road and Nielson Road in Phelan. Lunch will be served to all volunteers. Location: Silver Rock Road and Nielson Road in Phelan.
Free Art Activity at Wrightwood Arts Center– From 12:30pm-1:30pm. Come and get creative at this free family friendly event offered every Saturday. Location: Community Arts Center & Gallery at 6045 Park Drive in Wrightwood.
Writers Group at the Wrightwood Arts Center – From 2:00pm-4:00pm. Bring a notebook for a quick writing exercise to get the creativity flowing. After, there will be an open reading portion for writers to share any projects that they’re working on. Bring poems, scripts, dream journals, a beginning of a novel, or any other piece of writing to read to the group. Please keep it to 500 words or less so everyone can have the chance to participate! This is a free event, no registration is required. Location: Wrightwood Community Arts Center 6045 Park Drive in Wrightwood.

Music at the Big Rock Bar – From 8:30pm, Enjoy St. Patty’s Day all three nights in Pinon Hills. Enjoy drink specials and don’t forget to wear green to get a free jello shot. Location: The Big Rock Bar & Grill on Hwy 138 in Pinon Hills.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY
St. Paddy’s Day Cabbage Toss at Mountain Hardware– From 10:00am-2:00pm. This fun event is perfect for the whole family whether you’re an expert at tossing or just want to watch the fun. All ages are welcome to participate. Wear something green for good luck and receive a free lapel pin. Location: Mountain Hardware on Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
Live Band at Wrightwood Brew Co. – From 12:00pm, Listen to music by the Albert Miranda Projkt, featuring Mo Grundy with special guest Matt Grundy. Don’t miss this festive event along with cold beer and delicious food. Location: Wrightwood Brew at the top of Park Dr in Wrightwood.
16th Annual Free Till Ya Pee event at My Hero Subs & Pub – From 2:00pm. Grab some lunch or stay for dinner and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with free Bud Light or Coors Light until the first person pees. Event starts at 2:00pm with $5 cover charge, kids are welcome. Don’t forget to wear green! Location: My Hero Subs & Pub on Phelan Road in Phelan.
Live Music at the Village Grind – From 2:00pm-4:00pm. Enjoy live music by local band B.O.B, who will be performing rock, blues, jazz and country. Enjoy drinks and some great music. Location: The Village Grind on Park Drive in Wrightwood.
Phelan VFW Karaoke– From: 2:00pm. Join the fun. Public welcome. Location: VFW Post #9415 at 4892 Nielson Road in Phelan.
