On Friday, April 12th 2024
Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Social Fridays at Village Roots Collective – From 3:00pm-5:00pm. Free community social at Wrightwood’s newest business, Village Roots Collective, right next to the Wrightwood Artisans Boutique. Enjoy tea and shop for gifts. Location: Village Roots Collective 5995 Cedar St. in Wrightwood.
Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 3:00pm – 6:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.
Friday Night Steak Dinner at The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.

Wrightwood Little League Opening Day– From- 8:30am. Starts with a Pancake breakfast- tickets available at snack bar or from any player. Team introductions followed with surprise guest throwing the first pitch. Games played all day. Location: Wrightwood Elementary School at 1175 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
Wrightwood Artisan Boutique & Craft Fair – From 10:00am-3:00pm. Come by and browse unique one-of-a-kind art, home decor, handcrafted gifts from several local artisans. Location: Wrightwood Artisan Boutique on the corner of Cedar & Laura Streets in Wrightwood.
Bingo for a Cause in Pinon Hills – From 10:00am- 2:00pm. Enjoy an afternoon of Bingo while supporting Pinon Hills Elementary School PTA. Reserve your seat, space is limited. $20 for 10 games. Location: Pinon Hills Elementary School at 878 Mono Road in Pinon Hills.
Community Teaching Garden -10:00am. Gardening 101. Transplanting to Garden Bed. Learn from Master Gardener Michelle Hannon. New topic each month. Free class. All ages welcome. Phelan Community Park-Teaching Garden behind the Phelan Community Building.
Community Resource Fair – From 12:00pm-3:00pm. Come by and discover local resources available. Information & give-aways from health, education, recreation, safety organizations and other groups. Free event. Location: Serrano High School Gym at 9292 Sheep Creek Rd in Phelan.
Free Art Activity at Wrightwood Arts Center– From 12:30pm-1:30pm. Come and get creative at this free family-friendly event offered every Saturday. Location: Community Arts Center & Gallery at 6045 Park Drive in Wrightwood.
Wrightwood’s Got Talent – From 1:00pm-3:00pm. Enjoy an afternoon of great local talent. Scholarship fundraiser. Tickets are available at www.wrightwoodblues.org at $20 for non-members and $10 for members, 12 and under are free. Hosted by Wrightwood Blues Society. Location: The Wrightwood Place at 770 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
Phelan Library Family Paint Night– From 2:00pm. Step by step painting class, family fun. Leave with your Masterpiece. Location: Phelan Memorial Library at 9800 Clovis in Phelan.
Live Band at Mexico Lindo Wrightwood– From 4:00pm-8:00pm. Rock out to the Wild Side Band on the Mexico Lindo patio. Enjoy delicious food and cold drinks. Location: Mexico Lindo on Evergreen in Wrightwood.
D&D Night at the Wrightwood Arts Center– From 5:00pm-8:00pm. Play a beginner friendly game of Dungeons & Dragons. You can bring your own food and drinks to enjoy in the Art Center. This is a family-friendly game night and is open to ages 12 and up. If you have a character you can bring it with you, otherwise character sheets will be provided that night. RSVP online $5 per person. Location: Community Arts Center on Park Drive in Wrightwood.
Comedy Show at the Village Grind – From 7:30pm. Comedian Eddie Pence will be performing a stand-up comedy show. Eddie’s latest one hour special “The (Un)Special Comedy Special” can currently be seen on Amazon Prime Video, he has also made several appearances on Comedy Central. Tickets are $28.70 per person for 21+ Location: The Village Grind on Park Drive in Wrightwood.
Live Music at The Yodeler – From 8:00pm. Enjoy live music by the High D Boys band. Location: The Yodeler on Park Drive in Wrightwood.

Yoga Class at Love Roots Yoga Shala– From 9:00am-10:30am. Relax on Sundays at Love Roots Yoga Shala with a vinyasa flow and yin yoga class to balance your body. Karaoke at the VFW– From 1:00pm. Join the fun. Public welcome to this fun, music event. Location: VFW Post #9415 at 4892 Nielson Road in Phelan.
