It’s officially April! We’ve rounded up some of the best local events happening around the Tri-Community, so you can make the most of it. On Friday, April 4th, 2025
Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 3:00pm – 6:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.
Friday Night Steak Dinner at The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.

Sunset Little League Opening Day – From 8:30am
Fun begins at 8:30am. Opening ceremony at 10:30am. Raffle prizes, food trucks, and SBC Fire Department. LifeStream Blood donations, gear swap table, fan wear shop. Showcase game featuring four of the Majors 12yo teams, Orioles vs Dodgers and Lobos vs Warriors softball. Location: Phelan Elementary School 4167 Phelan Road in Phelan.
Wrightwood Little League Opening Day- From 8:30am. Starts with a Pancake breakfast- Team introductions followed with surprise guest throwing the first pitch. Games played all day. Location: Wrightwood Elementary School 1175 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
Chakra Yoga Flow Class – From 9:00am. Gentle yoga flow. $15 for classes. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2 2nd Floor Wrightwood.
Community Resource Fair – From 10:00am-2:00pm. Come by and discover over 30 local resources available. Information & give-aways from health, education, safety, social services, organizations, and other groups. Free event. Free lunch to first 100 attendees. Raffle prizes, food trucks available. Location: Serrano High School at 9292 Sheep Creek Rd in Phelan.
Wrightwood Arts & Craft Fair – From 11:00am-4:00pm. Shop from local artists, craftspeople and vendors and this fun outdoor event. Location: Wrightwood Artisans Boutique & Cedar Lodge at 5995 Cedar St in Wrightwood.
Wrightwood’s Got Talent – From 1:00pm-3:00pm. Enjoy an afternoon of great local talent. Scholarship fundraiser. Tickets are available at www.wrightwoodblues.org at $25 for non-members and $15 for members. Hosted by Wrightwood Blues Society. Location: The Wrightwood Place 770 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
Live Music at Wrightwood Brew Co. – From 2:00pm-5:00pm. Listen to live music by the High D Boys band. Request a song and sing along. Enjoy cold drinks and tasty food. Location: Wrightwood Brew Co. at top of Park Dr. in Wrightwood.
Art Opening at Wrightwood Arts Center – From 5:00pm-7:00pm Community is invited to local artist Suzi McKinney’s art exhibition opening reception. Her exhibit will run until April 27th . Event is free, all are welcome and light refreshments will be available. Location: Community Arts Center & Gallery at 6045 Park Drive in Wrightwood.

Ashtanga Yoga Class – From 9:00am. Get your body moving with this yoga class that connects mind, body and breath. $15 for classes. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2- 2nd Floor in Wrightwood.
Deep Roots Free Meditation Group – From 11:00am-12:30pm. Join a community group for mindfulness and meditation. Event is free but donations are appreciated. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2 2nd Floor Wrightwood.
Karaoke at the VFW– From 2:00pm. Join the fun. Public welcome to this fun, music event. Location: VFW Post #9415 at 4892 Nielson Road in Phelan.
