Tami Keen has been an employee of the Wrightwood Community Services District since its formation in July 2017, just four years ago. Working as a secretary and as a Parks Attendant, she is very experienced with every aspect of the management position she now occupies. She has worked closely with both former General Managers Al Morrissette and Lori Golden, which gives her a unique perspective in guiding the Board’s vision for the future of the District.
During a closed session at the August 3, 2021 regular Board of Directors meeting for the Wrightwood Community Services District, the Board placed Tamie Keen as an Interim General Manager, which was announced at the return to the open session. A general manager implements the policies of the Board of Directors for the District, which is made up of elected members of the community.
As General Manager she will oversee the services and activities of the Wrightwood Community Services District, such as distribution of dump cards, solid waste and wastewater, rental of the community building, parks and recreation, and streetlights. She will also handle correspondence with the community, local clubs and groups, the county, grants, and necessary correspondence. And, manage all district department’s employees, including one Park employee and one activity coordinator, which are both currently vacant positions.
