San Bernardino County is offering a Local Assistance Center to the Wrightwood Community on Saturday, April 1st, and Sunday, April 2nd, at Camp Wrightwood from 10 am-6 pm. The event will not only distribute food and emergency items but also offer government services to the mountain community.
The County and State Departments will have representatives to assist with health, business, and property guidance. You don’t want to miss this event if you need information on snow removal reimbursements or general disaster aid and relief. People who also have experienced property damage due to the storm could seek advice on hiring contractors or resources for home insurance. There will even be resources for business owners and individuals seeking employment opportunities.
Health resources include representatives from the Public and Behavior Health Department, Senior Services, Veterans Affairs, and Department of Insurance.
Business resources include San Bernardino Economic Development, SBC Workforce, Employment Development, Land Use Services, and Franchise Tax Board representatives.
Property resources from Contractors State License Board, Department of Insurance, Franchise Tax Board, County Assessor, Land Use Services.
