The Victor Valley Sheriff’s Department is searching for three suspects who carjacked a vehicle on Caughlin Road in Phelan on Thursday, May 25th.
The victims were driving near the railroad tracks down Caughlin Road on Thursday evening, when they encountered a man standing in the middle of the street. As the driver stopped the vehicle, the man on the road brandished a handgun at the victims and ordered them to get out of the car. Two other individuals emerged from the desert and stood near the car wearing facemasks. The victims got out of the vehicle and the three suspects then drove away in their silver 4-door, 2002 Ford Edge.
According to the victims, the three carjacking suspects included 2 males and 1 female who were all wearing black hooded sweatshirts and masks covering their face. This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the suspects or the stolen Ford Edge vehicle with CA license plate #9BXU134 is asked to contact Deputy C.
