A 1/4-mile segment of Phelan Road is set to close for repairs and replacement of damaged railroad tracks. The closure is scheduled to take place from 7:00 AM on Saturday, June 1st to 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 2nd. The affected area is located between White Road and Sunny Vista Road.
In light of the closure, a 25-mile detour route has been established to guide motorists safely along county-maintained paved roads. The Department of Public Works realizes that this detour may cause an inconvenience, but feel it provides the safest route around the road closure.
