PPHCSD offers various Spring Fitness classes at Pinon Hills Community Center located at 10433 Mountain Road. Mommy and Me Ballet will be held Fridays at 9:00 am on March 3, 10, 17, and 24th. Strength & Conditioning will be held on Fridays at 10:00 am on March 3, 10, 17, and 24th. Cardio & Strength on Tuesdays at 10:00 am on March 7, 14, 21, and 28th. And Strength & Balance on Tuesdays at 11:00 am on March 7, 14, 21, and 28th. RSVP is required for these classes, which can be done online at www.pphcsd.org/sign-up-for-classes. All ages are welcome. Adults must accompany minor children. All attendees must bring a yoga mat, towel, and water bottle.
At the Phelan Community Park on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10:00 am, Master Gardener Michelle Hannon will teach a class on Building Raised Beds. All ages are welcome to these events, and no RSVP is required. A Kid’s Berry Sweet Baking Class will be held on April 1st from 10:00 am-12:00 pm in the Phelan Senior Center. Learn how to make Strawberry Shortcake. An adult must accompany all minors, and an RSVP is required for the baking event and can be done online at www.pphcsd.org/sign-up-for-classes
