Volunteers are needed to help plant daffodil bulbs along the Wrightwood Village Trail.

The Wrightwood Property Owners Association’s Village Trail Keepers will be planting 1,000 daffodil bulbs, donated by Mountain Hardware in Wrightwood, along the Village Trail on Saturday, Nov. 9. Anyone interested in lending a hand with this project is welcome to join the Trail Keepers at Mountain Hardware at 9 a.m. Wear your gardening clothes and bring gloves and a trowel, if you have one. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Along the trail near Lone Pine Canyon Road and Hwy 2, the newest trail bench, donated by Ed Einboden, has been installed by trail volunteers Ken McFauls and Pete Russell. This makes the 11th trail bench for trail travelers to use for resting and relaxing. Come spring, the daffodils will be in full bloom along the trail. Thanks to all the volunteers, it is a beautiful sight to see while driving into Wrightwood.
