The Hesperia Recreation and Parks Department is Offering Lifeguard Training Courses and Water Safety Instructor Courses in March & April.
Hesperia Recreation and Park District will be offering an American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course at the District’s Pool, located at 16292 Lime Street in Hesperia. Candidates must be 15 years of age or older. The top 10 candidates will be admitted into the class after a pre-course assessment on which will be held on Saturday, March 19th from 4:00 – 8:00pm. Participants must be pre-registered to participate.
The course fee is $180.00 per person. A refund will be given if a candidate is not admitted into the class. Registration is accepted online only at HesperiaParks.com now through Wednesday, March 17th at 3:00pm. Additionally, the Hesperia Recreation and Park District will be offering an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Course, also at the Lime Street Park Community Center Pool. Candidates must be 16 years of age or older by the last day of class. The pre-course assessment will be Wednesday, April 21st after which, the top 10 candidates will be admitted into the class. Participants must be pre-registered to participate. The course fee is $135.00 per person. A refund will be issued for registered participants that do not successfully pass the pre-course swimming skills assessment. Registration is available online only at HesperiaParks.com now through Friday, April 16th.
