Caltrans is closing their public comment period for the State Route 39 reopening project on Monday, January 16th, 2023. A virtual Public Scoping Meeting was held last month on Thursday, December 15th, 2022. If you did not attend the meeting, a full recording is available to view on Caltrans District 7’s YouTube page. The community is encouraged to hear the 6 Alternative project proposals outlined in the video and then submit any comments to Karl Price, Division of Environmental Planning, at karl.price@dot.ca.gov. According to Caltrans “All comments received will become part of the project record and will provide valuable input to our environmental and design personnel.”
