Time is running out to purchase tickets for Wrightwood’s Got Talent Live Show, taking place on April 5 at The Wrightwood Place, located at 770 Hwy 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. The show, produced by CenterStage Wrightwood, will feature David Cimino as Master of Ceremonies. Cimino, a Rockabilly Hall of Fame inductee and founding producer of the Red Barn Opry, will be honored with an induction onto the Wrightwood Wall of Fame to kick off the event.
Following this tribute, sixteen acts from aspiring young performers from the High Desert will take the stage, showcasing their talent in the Wrightwood’s Got Talent Live Performance Scholarship Show. These talented finalists, chosen from video submissions, are eager to perform in front of a live audience.
According to Wrightwood Blues Society (WBS) President Greg Jones, “Audience members will be treated to an eclectic mix of music, dance, and even a bit of magic. Performers will be awarded the Terry ‘Big T’ DeRouen cash scholarship.”
