Caltrans announced that the Southbound I-15 Brake Check Area past Oak Hills will be closed beginning Wednesday, November 1st, 2023.
Construction contractors will be performing sign and barrier placement on Interstate 15 as they work on the “SB Cajon Weigh Station Relocation Project.” This project is focused on relocating the SB Cajon Weigh Station and Truck Safety Check Area in the Cajon Pass. Commercial drivers are advised to plan ahead to safely merge and avoid traffic delays. Crews will be placing signage to alert drivers about the roadwork and about the closed brake check facility.
