The Wrightwood Blues Society will host its 2025 Houz Ah Blues Concert on Saturday, June 7, from 5 to 9 p.m. at The Wrightwood Place. Headlined by acclaimed vocalist and keyboardist Kiki Ebsen, the event will feature an evening of blues, jazz, folk and Motown performed by both seasoned artists and emerging local talent.
Ebsen, the daughter of actor Buddy Ebsen, is a versatile artist known for her work as a singer, songwriter, producer and performer. She has toured with industry legends including Boz Scaggs, Michael McDonald, Al Jarreau and Christopher Cross. Her original recordings highlight her signature blend of musical storytelling.
Also performing is The Wrightwood Collective, a group of local musicians featuring John Burcher, Gayle Dowling, Craig Kupka, Greg Jones, Bonnie Matsen, Bobby O, Toby Williams and others.
The concert will open with performances by singer-songwriters Shiloh Hale and Jayde Burgen, both recipients of the Wrightwood’s Got Talent Scholarship, presented by the Wrightwood Blues Society.
General admission is $30 for nonmembers and $25 for society members. A limited number of VIP tickets, which include butler service, are also available. Organizers recommend purchasing tickets early, as the event typically sells out.
The Wrightwood Place is located at 770 Highway 2. Doors and dinner service open at 5 p.m., with music beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets and meals should be purchased in advance at wrightwoodblues.org. For more information, call 760-574-8231.
