Phelan Memorial Library Annual Holiday Gift Basket Raffle – During regular hours. Gift baskets ranging from Movie Nights, Self-Care, Dodgers, Pet Love, Local eateries, and many more. The baskets will be displayed November 1st until December 17th when winners will be drawn during the Holiday Event. Tickets will be on sale for 1 for $1, 6 for $5, 13 for $10, 20 for $15, and 30 for $20. Friends of the Library fundraiser. Location: Phelan Memorial Library at 9800 Clovis Rd in Phelan.

Wrightwood Library Holiday Fruit Cake Sale – Continuing through the month during regular hours. Come by and place your order for a delicious fruit cake priced at $10 each. Friends of the Library Fundraiser benefits the library programs. Location: Wrightwood Library at the corner of Apple Ave & Pine St in Wrightwood.
Tuesday, Nov. 4th
Holidays and Houses Craft Workshop – From 11:00am-4:00pm. Create a one-of-a-kind holiday project with IOD moulds, transfers and paints. Learn the basics of resin and all the fun projects that can be made for personalized gifts, reselling crafts and home decor. The class is $40.00 per person and includes all materials. Call to book or come in person to sign up. Deposit of $25 to hold your spot. Location: Paizly’s Vintage & Antiques at 4774 Phelan Rd in Phelan.

Home for the Holidays Coloring Book and Contest – The coloring contest is open to four age groups, ages 3-99+ Grand prize-$100, 2nd prize-$75, and 3rd prize- $50 will be awarded in each age group. Head over to www.phelanchamber.info and download the coloring book and start coloring. Then pick out your best work and submit it for a chance to win. Deadline to submit is December 8th at 4pm. While you’re on the website, download the “Home For The Holidays” special section that was featured in the November issue of NewsPlus. There are all kinds of fun facts, games and activities for all to enjoy.

Wrightwood Arts Center Holiday Handmade Market – Open every Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 12:00 pm-5:00 pm in Nov. Ten local elves (artists) have been busy creating gifts for everyone on your list for the WAC Holiday Market. Come support local artists and find that special, handmade, one-of-a-kind gift. Wrightwood Winter Concert- From 3:00 pm-5:00 pm. It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas, but first…….some music from your past. On Sunday, November 9 at the Wrightwood Community Center, the holiday season will open with a Winter Concert. Enjoy music from the 50’s & 60’s by Craig Kupka’s Combo with the very special addition of Shane Churchill and The Plaids Quartet. You will leave the concert singing Christmas music. Tri-Community Giving Tree– Starting Nov. 25th, look for Giving Trees at Coldwell Banker Home Source, Pizza Factory, Mama Maria’s, Mills Hardware, Rick’s Roadside Cafe & Phelan Pinon Hill Community Services District Office. The Giving Trees are decorated with ornaments, each showing a child’s first name, age, and wish list. Select one or more ornaments, purchase gifts, and return them by Dec.15th to any business with a Giving Tree. Phelan Chamber event.

Holiday Craft Fair– From 8:00 am-7:00 pm. Stop by the Wrightwood CSD Building during Wrightwood Mountain Holiday Celebration on Friday. The Fair will featuring Woodcarver Ed Einboden, crochet items, hand knits, handcrafted soaps & jewelry. Portion of sales benefits the Timberline Lions of Wrightwood disaster fund.

Wrightwood Mountain Holiday Celebration– From 10:00 am-8:00pm. Two days of caroling, music, fun, Great Elf Hunt, Letters to Santa mail box, shopping & more. At 6pm on Friday – is the Tree Lighting ceremony in the Village and Santa & Mrs Claus arrive. Shops & businesses open til 8pm both days. Activities continue all day on Saturday. At 6pm on Saturday is the popular Parade of Lights in the Village.
