Snowline Nutritional Services has been providing meals for the free Grab-and-Go breakfast and lunch program, which is now in its second week of operation. They have served over 15,500 meals thus far. “I am so thankful for all of the wonderful Snowline JUSD Nutrition Services staff members who provided free meals to our learning community’s children,” said Superintendent Dr. Ryan Holman. The program will continue through April.
The Grab-and-Go Free Meal program is available to students in the Snowline School District as a way to continue providing free meals to students. Grab-and-Go meals consist of breakfast and lunch; students can “drive” up and “grab” a meal and “go” home to eat it.
Meals are handed out between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm Monday through Friday at five locations. All students have to do is show up at either Baldy Mesa Elementary, Pinon Hills Elementary, Vista Verde Elementary, Wrightwood Elementary, or Serrano High School.
