In recognition of the International Day of Yoga, Wrightwood will host an all-day event, “Rooted in Love,” on Saturday, June 21 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The gathering, organized by local Wrightwood yoga studio, the Love Roots Yoga Shala, will take place in a forest setting and features yoga, meditation, Tai Chi Chih, Pilates, and sound healing sessions.
Participants will also find a vendor marketplace with locally made goods, food options, and live music, including drum circles and Native American flute performances.
“We’re thrilled to welcome so many yogis to experience the beauty of movement and breath in the forest,” said Liz Wolf-Spada, co-owner of Love Roots Yoga Shala. “It’s a homecoming for the soul.”
Organizers say the event is open to all experience levels, from long-time practitioners to beginners looking to explore holistic wellness in a supportive, nature-based environment.
Highlights include:
• Wellness classes throughout the day
• Guided meditation and sound healing
• Tai Chi Chih and Pilates sessions
• Live music
• Local vendors and food
