Eagle Scout Grayson Rushworth’s Eagle Scout Project will honor the Veterans with dedication bricks to be placed at the Wrightwood Veterans Memorial Park.
Young 15-year-old Greyson Rushworth has embarked on his Eagle Scout Project, a significant milestone in a scout’s life. “When I began my search for an Eagle Scout Project, I made a list of what I considered important to me for this once-in-a-lifetime project,” said Grayson. “I wanted to honor my grandfather and great-grandfather who had served our country.”
Grayson decided he would organize a dedication brick pathway at the Wrightwood Veterans Memorial where folks could donate a personalized brick to honor our nation’s veterans. “Not only did this accomplish my own goal of honoring my family but to also honor all the men and women who have served our country.”
Bricks can be purchased in various sizes, with some featuring a logo and from one to several lines of engraving. Greyson is asking for help in completing his project by donating a brick. Bricks can be donated now through the end of June 2021.
Those interested can get a 4″x 8″ brick with three lines of engraving for a donation of $50 or $65 with a logo; an 8″ x 8″ brick with six lines of engraving for $80 or $100 with a logo.
Donations forms will be available around Wrightwood, or you can visit www.bricksrus.com/donorsite/wvmeagle to complete your order.
