Attention all Phelan Pinon Hills Community Services District residents: Don’t miss the Community Cleanup & Free Tire Drop-Off Day and Shred-Fest on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 8 a.m. to noon.

This event is a great opportunity for residents to dispose of unwanted household items, yard waste, and recyclable materials. You can also drop off up to nine tires per residence for free, as long as they are off the rims. Please note that commercial tires, commercial waste, hazardous materials, and e-waste will not be accepted.

A Shred-Fest will also be available. Bring up to four 20-pound boxes of paper documents to shred. No commercial material will be accepted.

This is a fantastic way to help keep our community clean and safe, all at no cost to you! To participate, you must be a district resident and show proof of residency. The drop-off location is at the CR&R Service Yard, located at 9828 Buckwheat Road in Phelan.

This event is sponsored by the Phelan Pinon Hills CSD, CR&R, and CalRecycle. If you have any questions or concerns, call 760-868-1212.

Remember, the Free Community Cleanup Day is for district residents only, so take advantage of this opportunity to dispose of unwanted items and help keep your community beautiful!
