Kits will be available for purchase beginning at 11 a.m. Chili tasting kits are $10 and include samples from all contestants, available from noon until gone. Salsa kits are $5 and include entry to the tasting room from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
To end the day, awards will be presented at Vivian Null Park at 2 p.m. Chili awards will go to the first-, second- and third-place winners, along with the people’s choice winner and the salsa contest awards. The jalapeño eating contest winner will be announced at 1:30 p.m. There is no charge to enter the jalapeño eating contest.
