The Carter-Vasquez family cabin in Wrightwood was destroyed by the Bridge Fire in 2024.

The Carter- Vasquez Family wants to extend a personal ‘Thank You’ to the Timberline Lions of Wrightwood for their kindness and compassion toward our family and the other families affected by Wrightwood’s Bridge Fire on September 10, 2024.

Novel Carter-Vasquez wrote:

I would like to make aware to our town and the Tri-Community regarding the compassion and kindness that was given to my family and other families as well, during the most devastating time in our lives and our town. The financial support was greatly appreciated, which was given not just to my family but also to my sister Nila, who lost everything. Words cannot express our thankfulness and gratefulness for their support.

I want to personally thank our town as well for all their love, prayers and kind support.

We as a family could not have gotten through this difficult time without the support from our town of Wrightwood and Timberline Lions! I thank the lions for all they do and continue to do for our Tri-Community.

My family and I humbly thank the Lions and Wrightwood, and for all your support and compassion.

From,
The Carter-Vasquez Family
