The Wrightwood Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 28th annual Wrightwood Mountain Classic Car Show on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 10am to 4pm. Over 200 vehicles dating from the 1930s to 1975 will be on display, including American-made rods, customs, classics, coupes, muscle cars, trucks, and special interest cars. Additionally, trophies will be awarded in 21 categories, including Best of Show.
The vehicles will be set up in and around the downtown business district off Highway 2. Day-of registration begins at 7am and costs $45 per car. Follow the signs to the corner of Pine and Apple. Checks or cash are accepted.
Aside from local businesses selling their wares, there will also be food and merchandise booths set up in the Vendor Village. There will be trike races for kids in the town center at Evergreen and Park, with registration starting at noon and races beginning at 1pm. Live music by Lonnie and the Lugnuts will be playing throughout the day, featuring surfing, oldies, and hits from the 50s to 70s. There will also be “opportunity drawings” (formerly known as raffles) held throughout the day for gift cards, services, restaurants, and more. Tickets for the 50/50 prize will be sold starting at 10am, and the 50/50 will be drawn at 3:15pm prior to trophy presentations. Half of the proceeds raised during the day will go to the winner. Please leave pets at home for everyone’s safety. For more information, visit wrightwoodchamber.org.
