Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is offering a free 20-hour basic training disaster preparedness course. The course includes three Saturdays of training, September 9th, 16th, and 23rd, 2023, from 8 am-4 pm at the Wrightwood Community Building. Participants must be 17 or older or be with a parent taking the course. The Basic CERT program consists of training focusing on first aid, CPR, and training for emergency preparedness for Wrightwood. Training is free. Attendees must attend ALL three sessions to be certified to be a member of the Wrightwood CERT.
