On July 8th two lucky Wrightwood residents each won $500 for a Shopping Spree at Mountain Hardware in Wrightwood.  The two lucky winners were Russ Drew and Roger Hicks.  For many years Mountain Hardware has been holding this Give-Away for a chance to spend the winnings either in the store, from the catalog or on-line. 

Russ Drew is a 38 year resident of Wrightwood.  He has entered this Give-Away for many years.  Russ was very surprised when he got the call from Mountain Hardware to inform him he was one of the winners.  Russ has no definite plans as how he’ll spend his winnings.  Most likely on trees and landscaping, or perhaps  paint for his home.  He’s just not sure. 

Roger Hicks is a 33 year resident of Wrightwood.  He walked in the store and saw the entry box and decided to fill out a form.  He only filled out one entry form even though customers could fill out a form every time they came into the store.  Roger is thinking over how to spend his winnings.  Since he’s in his mid eighties he’ll probably buy smaller items for himself.  He has family and friends he’ll help with items they could use.   Happy spending to both Russ and Roger.
