Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 4:00pm – 7:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.
Friday Night Steak Dinner at The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.
Oktoberfest at The Tavern at The Ranch Steakhouse– From open-close. Beer & Food Specials. Brats, corned beef, and cabbage. Celebrate with happy hour all day and a DJ playing music. Location: The Ranch Steakhouse at 4264 Phelan Rd in Phelan.

Community Teaching Garden– From 10:00am. Gardening 101- Harvesting & Storing Vegetables and Fruits. Learn how simple gardening can be from Master Gardener Michelle Hannon. New topic each month. Free class. All ages welcome. Location: Phelan Garden behind the Phelan Community Building at 4176 Warbler & Sheep Creek Roads.
Hello Fall Art Fair– From 10:00am-3:00pm. Come by and browse unique one-of-a-kind art, home decor, handcrafted gifts from several local artisans. Location: Wrightwood Artisans Boutique Corner of Cedar & Laura Streets in Wrightwood.
Wrightwood Chili Cook-off & Salsa Contest – From 11:00am-3:00pm. Enjoy sampling homemade chili and salsa, and vote for your favorite. Activities include: Jalapeño Eating Contest, 50/50 drawing, beer garden, DJ Music, vendors & more. Sampling kits for Chili are available for a fee. Location: Wrightwood Community Building parking lot 1275 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
Live Music at Wrightwood Brew – From 11:00am-2:00pm. Enjoy live music by the High D Boys band. Request songs and sing along. Location: Wrightwood Brew Co. at the top of Park Dr in Wrightwood.
Paint Night at the Arts Center– From 5:00pm. Enjoy painting a Halloween-inspired creation. RSVP is required, tickets are $33.85 per person and can be purchased online. Location: Community Arts Center & Gallery at 6045 Park Dr. in Wrightwood.

A Very Wild Halloween at Forever Wild – From 10:00am-5:00pm. FOREVER WILD & HD Family Events partner again for a frightfully fun weekend! There will be Discounted tickets for only $10 per person. Extreme feeds & Barn feeds all day long at the wild animal sanctuary. Location: FOREVER WILD 8545 Buttemere Rd in Phelan.
