Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Tri-Community Green Waste Recycling– From 9:00am-3:00pm. Pine needles, weeds, branches, tree trimmings, grass & pine cones accepted. NO rocks, cement, trash Joshua or Palm trees, stumps, roots or lumber. Keep pine needles separate. Loads must be covered. Free. Location: Across from the Wrightwood Fire Station 1450 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 3:00pm – 6:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.
Friday Night Steak Dinner at The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.

Chakra Yoga Flow Class – From 9:00am. Gentle yoga flow. $15 for classes. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2 2nd Floor Wrightwood.

Art Exhibit Opening in Wrightwood – From 5:00pm-7:00pm. Come see the work of award-winning artist and local arts educator Colleen Sparlin. She will also be doing an inspiring artist talk at 6:00pm. Free event. Location: Community Arts Center & Gallery 6045 Park Dr. Wrightwood.
Wrightwood Taste of the Village– From 10:00am-5:00pm. Merchants will offer samplings about their business. Come by and visit with them and enjoy a day in Wrightwood. Free event. Location: Various businesses around Wrightwood.
Live Music at Mt. High North Lodge – From 5:00pm -8:00pm. Check out Dancing Echos as they cover the greatest hits from the Greatful Dead for all to enjoy. Free. Location: Mt. High North Lodge on Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
Wrightwood Senior Follies – From 7:00pm. Talented seniors (55+) will showcase their many talents: Singing, dancing, music and comedy & more. Tickets $25 at the door or www.wrightwoodcsd.org/recreation. Location: Wrightwood Community Building 1275 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
