Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Timberline Lions Blood Drive in Wrightwood – From 2:00pm-7:00pm. “Give Hope, Give Life, Give Love”. Donate blood and give someone a second chance. Go to: lstream.org for appt. Location: Wrightwood Community Building Parking Lot 1275 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.
Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 3:00pm – 6:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.
Friday Night Steak Dinner at The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.
