On Friday, January 24th 2024
Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Transition Habitat Restoration Event in Llano– From 9:00am-3:00pm. Help to restore a newly conserved property just on the LA County boundary near Pinon Hills. Bring work clothes, gloves, water and your lunch. Volunteers can meet here at 9 am Come for as long as you can if you can’t stay all day. For more information email [email protected].
Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 3:00pm – 6:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.
Friday Night Steak Dinner at The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.

Chakra Yoga Flow Class – From 9:00am. Gentle yoga flow. $15 for classes. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2 2nd Floor Wrightwood.

Drawing Endangered Animals– From 2:00pm-3:30pm. Free event for all ages! Participants will learn more about local endangered animals and how they can help. Materials and instruction will be provided to draw these creatures and reflect on their importance within the environment. Location: Wrightwood Community Arts Center & Gallery 6045 Park Dr in Wrightwood.
Comedy Night at the Wrightwood Speakeasy- From 8:00pm. Stand-up comedian JON HUCK will be performing in Wrightwood! Tickets are $20 and for ages 18+. Purchase tickets online. Location: Wrightwood BnB on 800 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.

Ashtanga Yoga Class – From 9:00am. Get your body moving with this yoga class that connects mind, body and breath. $15 for classes. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2- 2nd Floor in Wrightwood.
Karaoke at the VFW– From 2:00pm. Join the fun. Public welcome to this fun, music event. Location: VFW Post #9415 at 4892 Nielson Road in Phelan.
