On Friday, August 30th 2024
Senior Line Dancing – From 8:30am – 11:00am, great fun and exercise while learning to line dance and the best part is it’s FREE! Location: Phelan Senior Center at the Phelan Community Park, 4176 Warbler Road in Phelan.
Wrightwood Farmers Market – From 4:00pm – 7:00pm, locally grown fresh produce, artisan baked goods, jams, coffee, olive oil, honey, natural beauty products & soaps, and crafters can often be found at the Market. Location: In the Wrightwood Community Building at the corner of Park Drive and Hwy 2.
Friday Night Steak Dinner at The VFW – From 5:00pm-7:00pm, all are welcome to visit the VFW and get a complete delicious steak dinner ($22), alternate meals change each week between Ribs($14), Chicken($12), Pork Chops($12), and Fish n Chips($12) or a vegetarian alternate dinner. Kids meals available too! Proceeds help support the programs and outreach of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Phelan. Location: VFW Post 9415 in Phelan at the corner of Nielson and Johnson Roads.

Chakra Yoga Flow Class – From 9:00am. Gentle yoga flow. $15 for classes. Location: Love Roots Yoga Shala 1329 Hwy 2 2nd Floor Wrightwood.
Music at Mt. High North Lodge – From 4:00pm-8:00pm. The Joe Ferraro Band plays great Blues and Country music. Free show. Location: Mt. High North Lodge in Wrightwood
The Red Barn Orpy- From 5:00pm. Special celebration. Enjoy music from 5 live bands: The Matsens, Blue Eyed Coyote, Honey Buckets, The High D Boys, and Winslow. Free event. Location: Red Barn Opry at Wilkensville 1336 Edna Street in Wrightwood.
Comedy Night in Wrightwood – From 9:00pm-11:00pm. Have some laughs with comedian MICHAEL LENOCI & FRIENDS. Tickets are $35 and includes 2 drinks. Purchase tickets online Location: The Speakeasy at the Wrightwood BnB on 800 Hwy 2 in Wrightwood.

Karaoke at the VFW– From 1:00pm. Join the fun. Public welcome to this fun, music event. Location: VFW Post #9415 at 4892 Nielson Road in Phelan.
