Snowline School District announced that schools will continue to be closed on Monday, February 27th due to road closures and travel challenges from the big weekend storm. School had previously been canceled on Thursday, February 23rd and Friday, February 24th at the beginning of the storm. The district is now focused on the necessary clean up and snow removal that’s needed at the various school sites.
Although the Blizzard and Winter Warnings from the National Weather Service are no longer in effect, there is still some snowfall in the forecast for the Tri-Community early this week that is expected. The school district will continue to monitor road conditions in order to ensure a safe return to school for the students, staff and the community.
