San Bernardino County Announces IEHP Super Vaccination Site & New Vaccination Dashboard

Tri-Community NewsPlus

The Inland Empire Health Plan has partnered with San Bernardino County to open a super vaccination site.  The clinic opened on February 25, 2021, and is located at the IEPH headquarters located at 10801 Sixth Street in Rancho Cucamonga.  The hours of operation are from Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and is expected to be open and operating for about six months.

Nurses from both the County and IEHP will administer 500 vaccines per day with a goal to reach 1000 vaccinations per day if vaccines are available.  The clinic will also include an observation area to monitor any side effects and be able to accommodate those with mobility issues.  Appointments are required and can be made at SBCovid19.com/vaccine.

On February 12, 2021, the County of San Bernardino launched an update to sbcovid19.com.  The website now includes a COVID-19 vaccination dashboard created by the County’s Public Health data team.  The dashboard will provide an at-a-glance look at the status of vaccine distribution and administration within the County.

The dashboard will provide county residents with detailed information on the County’s vaccination efforts.  And will include such information as the number of vaccines administered, the number of residents vaccinated (first & second doses), the percent of the population that has received vaccines, and who has received vaccines by age, race, ethnicity, and gender.  The dashboard will also include a map showing the vaccination numbers and rates in each city and a map listing the providers who have received doses, how many of those doses have been administered, and what vaccine brand.
