San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help in locating an elderly man reported missing from Phelan on Saturday, May 2.

According to authorities, deputies responded at approximately 2:20 p.m. to a residence in the 9900 block of Valle Vista Road after receiving a report of a missing person. Investigators say 89-year-old Lonny Chrisman drove away from his home and has not been located.

Chrisman is described as a white male, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He has white hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve blue plaid shirt, black pants, white socks, and Velcro shoes.

Officials say Chrisman may be driving a white 2012 Ford Flex with a Minnesota Vikings trailer hitch cover. Authorities also noted that Chrisman is experiencing serious memory and cognitive challenges, increasing concern for his safety.

Anyone who may have seen Chrisman or knows his whereabouts is urged to contact Deputy A. Durden at 909-499-1690 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at 760-956-5001.
